Working hard and seeing the rewards

This area Macy is serving in was dead when she got there, now there are so many people she and Hermana Garcia are teaching I cannot keep them straight and they keep adding people every week! I'll tell about a few...they contacted a woman and her 2 kids who used to be members of The Church. They were very receptive and welcoming but it seems the woman might be a little into supernatural/magical stuff and has invited Macy and HG back for some "experiments". Macy thought it was hilarious, HG was a bit freaked out so they probably won't be following up.
Last week they contacted another very nice woman who wasn't interested in hearing about the Gospel but gave HR and HG some nice plants for their apartment.  They stopped by this week to say thank you and discovered the woman lives with 2 of her sisters and 2 nephews. Now they are teaching one sister and the 2 nephews who want HG & HR to come back every night!
People like to give HR and HG stuff, another woman they contacted (so they just met the woman!) could not believe they weren't wearing hats a quickly produced one for each of them. A few blocks later a lady was admiring Macy's hat and wanted to know where she got it. Macy was glad to pay it forward and gave the lady the hat, needless to say she was very happy and a little surprised.
They have contacted 2 other families (yay) and many other people but haven't had time or people are gone (its summer there) to follow up with all of them. However, they are very excited to have a Noche de Jogar with the Zunega family on Sunday - the dad, son and daughter are very active but the mom belongs to another religion. Macy says they are a great family and are really hoping to help them to become a forever family.
HR and HG were able to attend 2 meetings last week with Elder Juan Pablo Villar. He told the missionaries they can't teach about Jesus unless they know Him, followed by a discussion of Matthew 4. In a leadership meeting he reviewed the parable of the talents and then told the missionary leaders they could double their talents (baptisms) by talking to everyone. Macy said he was inspiring and dynamic. He has an article in the youth part of this month's Liahona.
For pday today the sisters in the area went to an interactive science museum that was a nice change of pace and pretty interesting. She sent pics but I can't get them from mail onto here for some reason. :[
Macy is doing great, so very grateful to be busy and have people willing to listen to their very important message.
